Moved...
I know it’s been very quiet round here for the last month, this is due to my wife and I moving out of Edinburgh to Musselburgh at the end of last month and we’ve only just got internet access here in the last week. We’ve currently in the process decorating the room which will in time be our study, so it’s going to be a short while before I can get any new photo’s uploaded.
Adding support for Services to Rails-CMDB
I’ve just checked my work in progress of adding support for modeling services in Rails-CMDB into SVN, it’s not really ready for production use yet (i.e. I may change the model in incomputable ways) and it’s lacking much code and tests.

A image used to be here…. lost in a blog migration
I’m thinking buying a license for OmniGraffle, as I can’t edit the above diagram any more, it seems a lot nicer than Visio which I use quite a lot at work. The only thing is the Professional version worth the extra money ?

New photos may be a coming (and other stuff)...
After what seem like an age (well a month and abit), I’ve finally taken some new pictures. So there’s a chance that some will be uploaded in the coming days. However I’m currently (impatiently) waiting for my Aperture 2.0 upgrade to arrive before doing the first rating pass.
In other photography news on Monday my firewire CF card reader arrived and I must say it’s a lot quicker than my old USB mutli-function reader. It may very well speed my work flow (like others), however I’m more concerned with making use of the USB port it freed up for my iPod.
